So....

I got a 22% on my calc test last week. The teacher is so crappy, that the average was about 40%, AND he is NOT going to curve the test. Needless to say there are a lot of angry students and someone even passed out complaint forms to the ENTIRE class of about 150.

To top it off, if I don't pass this particular class I will be a YEAR behind in my degree, automatically making me a 5 year student. I knew I was probably going to be a 5 year student, but it is going to majorly suck because I will have a year where I will have no metr classes, and I won't be able to take Physics II until next fall. BLAH!

This weekend was great. Kind of one of those where you plan to do absolutely nothing and forget about everything that is crappy. And there was that extra bonus hour from daylight savings time ending. Now the weekend sucks because I still have to write a concert report and read the last half of my meteorology chapter. I've already started my calc that is due Tuesday, and haven't even looked at the Physics that is due Wednesday. Maybe I should have picked another weekend to chill out and do nothing.

I haven't heard from many people from home lately. I hope things are going well for everyone. I will be home (in Marshall)the 25th thru the 27th if anyone wants to hang out. I could make it earlier, but I want to stay at my Mom's a few days before going to Marshall. Call me or instant message me.

I'm going to try to write my concert report now.

I want to go home.

I dunno why. I just want to go home and sleep in my bed. I hate Marshall, I dunno if I belong here. Crappy, just crappy.

Things are useless sometimes, I don't even know why I bother. Confusion constantly surrounds me. Don't ask.

Cute site...

Go here.. It is sooooo cute!

I'm in a really good mood considering what has happened in the past few weeks.

I thought I did really well on my physics exam, I got a 60 on it. blah. That's the way my cookie ALWAYS crumbles. I'm pretty sure I failed my calc 2 exam yesterday, blah. I think I did well on my music exam... Let's see how that one works out.

I'm looking into getting my own apartment. I thought the whole roommate thing would work out great, turns out it isn't. I'm really tired of fighting and arguing and just having people around. I mean I love my roommates, but I'm a person that has to have my space, and it seems that there is always someone in my "space." I think if I had my own apartment I would be better off: there wouldn't be people around all the time and no disturbances. It is really hard to do homework when there are people around, I'd rather be out with the people than in my room doing homework. If I had my own place that wouldn't happen. I think this alternative is better than my other one of moving back home, I should stay here. I just hope the meteorology thing works out. I'm just very frustrated right now with school and life. But really, what's new?

Communication sucks... Why does life have to depend on communication.

Update time.

Ended up going home last weekend. Blah. It was great until Saturday night. I'm glad I got to spend time with my Mom and my babies and Lora. Too bad it ended like crap. Thanks Amanda and Wes for going with me, and thanks a lot to Wes who drove all the way back. Now you guys know where my messed-up-ness comes from.

Even though I had my second physics test this week, this week has been going really well. I got a P+ on my Music paper, which is basically an A+. We get to use the extra + to round up our grade at the end of the semester. yesssssss. I think the main reason my week has been going well is because tonight I think I did REALLY WELL on my physics exam. Also, I half way know what is going on in calc, hopefully I can keep this up. Here's to a good week and finally a day of rest.

I bought the new Good Charlotte CD tonight. I'm currently on track 5, and I love this CD! I also bought a 2 disc set of "the most relaxing classical music ever" interesting enough it has "Clarinet Concerto" on it by Mozart, which was Robyn's solo a few years ago.

I can't wait to sleep-in in the morning.

Computers...ick.

My old dell is a hunk of junk.

It freaked when I loaded Sim City 4 on it. It decided that it wanted to screw with my settings and make it where my monitor picture is about 1/2 the size it's supposed to be. So I had this ridiculous small screen with all my icons crammed onto the desktop and about a 2 inch border of screen that was black. Crappyness. I finally figured part of my problem was that my drivers needed to be updated so I did that a few hours ago. That helped bring the picture to full screen, but my fonts and icons are still ridiculously HUGE. I tried to change the pixel settings or whatever in the control panel and it give me a message that I don't have the proper authority to change the settings. WHAT! Yes I do. I'm paying for this computer I BETTER have the right to change anything I want on it. ANYWAY. Hopefully I'll get it figured out, or just deal with the supersized computer graphics. ARG.

Do you know how someone can repeat a certain word or words and it just drives you nuts? My Calc 2 TA is one of those people for me. While she is working a problem on the board she turns around to the class and says "Makes sense?" It drives me nuts!!! Not to mention I can't understand her half the time, but I really hate saying that because I know she is not from America. She is really nice and everything, but I'm just pointing out something that drives me nuts. I figured I'd throw that one in there since my computer is driving me nuts at the moment. Yeah, get it all out at once.

I'm kind of wondering if everywhere except Oklahoma fell off the map. Don't you just hate when people seem to disappear. Yep.

No class until Monday. yessssss, one reason besides band I LOVE football.

It's October!

Yep.

I had a pretty good birthday. My mother sent me a dozen pink and yellow roses. They are REALLY pretty. I think pink roses are my favorite flower now. Later I went out to eat with the roommates at The Olive Garden then Me, Amanda, and Erik went to this place in OKC to get piercings. Well me and Amanda got piercings. I was pretty sure I was going to pass out so I needed a possible driver for the drive back. I got my navel pierced and didn't pass out at all. I blacked out when I got my ear pierced and my tougue, I faded out a bit when I got my nose done, and then this time I didn't feel any tendency to pass out or black out. yay!

School is going well. I flunked my calc and physics exams I took a few weeks ago. And I decided to drop my Philosophy class. I just can't stand it. I don't really appreciate going to class and being preached to by one of the students. That really ticked me off. Something I don't really want to go into. But really, even though I flunked a few tests I'm still doing really well. I did pass my music and government tests with high C's so that's good. In calc and physics all I have to say is thank goodness for weighted grades.

I went to a concert tonight at Catlett. It was the understanding music teachers recital for the semester. It was awesome. It started out with my teacher playing two pieces on the concert organ in Gothic Hall. All I have to say about that is "AMAZING." I have so much respect for organ players. I didn't realize that THAT much work went into playing a concert organ. The whole foot keyboard blows my mind. One of the pieces that was played during the regular concert was a trio for piano, voice, and clarinet. It was also awesome. It really reminded me of how much I need to practice. The last piece that was played was a piece by John Cage, I forgot what it was called but it was something for trombone. I dunno if you know about John Cage's song "Four Minutes and Thirty-three Seconds" but if you do you probably would appreciate this song that was played. John Cage was big on not performing "normal" music. He thought that anything could be considered music, like the rain falling, cars honking, the sound of people talking, ect. So basically the trombone piece was the guy goofing off with his trombone. He said that there was twelve sheets of music, but the "instructions" said that they could be played in any order or any amount, or not even at all. He had some really random objects he was using as mutes. He had a few "regular" mutes and then some really odd ones like a plastic Viking hat, a orange plastic pumpkin, and a conch shell, just to mention a few. At one point he took his entire trombone apart and placed the mouthpiece in the conch shell and played it, that was pretty cool. I really enjoyed going to the concert, it was nice to get away from the somewhat regular routine.
