Allergic to Kansas/Missouri? Yes, I think so.

Current mood: anxious

Well here I am, day 3 in Missouri. I'm ready to leave. I can't breathe here, literally.

I drove up to Kansas City for Kyle's wedding Friday, which was very pretty and a very well planned out ceremony. Just a tad bit too churchy for me though, but I still respected it. Along my drive, while I was about half way through Kansas, I realized that I couldn't breathe out of my nose. Stupid allergies. Ever since then, my nose has either been clogged or running like there's no tomorrow. Ugh.

So in attempt of being able to breathe again, I have decided to go back to Oklahoma a day early. Not to mention I miss all my friends, my Matt , my stuff, my HOME. Yeah. It's like that. This place just isn't home to me anymore. And that's a very good thing!

I did however enjoy hanging out with my mom and "the kids" (Hallie and Boo) this weekend. She is the most awesomest mom ever. I can't wait till we get to go to Chicago in a few weeks! For those of you keeping score in Oklahoma, my mom probably won't be able to make it back to Norman until Decemberish.

As an ending note to this post, I want to thank Matt for making the last month of my life, the greatest month of my life.

Busy Summer...

Current mood: tired

I thought I would take a moment to post my happenings this Summer. In the last few days I've had a few things come up that are going to make my Summer very eventful, and for that I think it will be a great Summer.

May 25th -- Olathe, Kansas -- to see my best friend from home, Kyle, get married.

June 16-19 -- Chicago, Illinois -- to see my favorite all time singer, Darren Hayes, and to spend time with my Mom and have fun hanging around the city.

July 2-5 -- Columbus, Ohio -- to see one of my uncles that I haven't seen in ages, and spend the fourth in style. ALSO to see Jen, which I'm super excited about!

I'm just hoping that gas prices don't kill me. Which I have a feeling that they will.

AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Current mood: ecstatic

I'm going to see Darren next month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got tickets to see him in Chicago. ROAD TRIP! Totally worth driving 15 hours from Oklahoma to see him. At least I know it will be. Plus I'll get to spend a day and a half sight seeing Chicago with my Mom (hopefully if she can get the time off). It's going to be wonderful! I CAN'T WAIT! I already have a list of places I want to eat at and see.

In other news:
Things have been going extremely well in my life lately. It really helps that I don't have to worry about classes until August. (yay) And the fact that I am now with the most incredible boy ever. We've only been together for a few weeks, but it feels like forever. I'm so happy!

So yeah, Summer has kicked off to a very awesome start. I SUMMER!

There's this guy, he is amazing.

So.. May 3, 2007 in Oklahoma..
We had a severe storm come through the Norman area today. Now if you know anything about this area, you know that May 3rd is not a good day in the past. I swear, the entire town shut down because of a rainshower. In the span of 5 minutes I saw a wreck, and mulitipule people driving around with their flashers on, in a NORMAL rainshower. I would have understood if it was like a torrential downpour with really bad visibility, but I could see for MILES! Weird.

About that guy... he's amazing!
