....

I think if you are responsible for someone's failure, you should step up and admit it. No matter how many people find out.

But that just what I think.

That is all.

A Quick Rant Before Class....

Seriously people.... What is the deal with wearing SNOW shoes on 55 degree days??? OMG get a clue. If you think it is cute.... GET A CLUE. I mean I don't want my feet all nice and soggy sweaty for no reason except I think they are cute. They are made for people that actually need to keep their feet warm in a foot or more of snow. What a waste of money for people in OKLAHOMA.

Goo Goo Dolls

I totally forgot how great of a band The Goo Goo Dolls are. I think if Savage Garden wasn't around the same time as GGD they would have been my favorite of all my time. Anyway, I heard one of their old songs on the radio last night and it reminded me of high school. It was the weirdest feeling ever. So since last night I've been jamming out to GGD. It's crazy the way I associate different times of my life with music.

Cold Weather (cont.)

Yeah, since the last post, Mother Nature decided to ice over Oklahoma. Last weekend was one of those weekends where you stayed home unless you needed to get food. Which is exactly what we did. The main reason is one very simple equation...

Oklahoma People + Texas People + Snow/Ice + Driving = STAY OFF THE ROADS!

I'm serious.

I managed to closely fail my Linear Algebra exam I took like a half month ago and just got back Monday. After looking over it, I think I got royally cheated. I'm not talking about it anymore. UGH.

I'm pretty much sick of classes now, I think it is mostly overload/burnt out of energy. Which makes things really crappy.

Anyway, I think I'll go find something to do now.

RIDICULOUSNESS!

Some guy is suing Apple because they make iPods that allow high enough decibels to cause hearing loss. OMG has this guy never been to any concerts? Ok I think I'm going to start suing every band that I have seen in concert for MY hearing loss. I can't believe this.

I hate cold weather.

It's getting cold again, ugh.

This semester is draining the life out of me. I'm never taking 5 classes in a semester ever again. NEVER. Thank goodness that I won't have to. Maybe the extra year of college is actually going to pay off. Here's what I think about this semesters classes so far:

Open Channel Flow--
What I think of it: "Why am I in this class"?
What I have learned so far: Q = discharge of a channel

Inventing the Modern World--
What I think of it: "OMG Why am I reading this"?
What I have learned so far: If it wasn't for wood and someone inventing the clock we would be screwed today.

Severe and Unusual Weather--
What I think of it: "OMG I'm a nerd and no one in this class gets the funny jokes."
What I have learned so far: nothing new really, other than if you stand with your back to the wind the low pressure is 30 degrees from your left. I could have thought of that one.

Linear Algebra--
What I think of it: Some kind of foreign language must have been a prereq for this class and I didn't get the memo.
What I have learned so far: Matrices are deadly.

Numerical Methods--
What I think of it: Why didn't they name this class "Beware: This is a Class Entirely About Excel and Calculus." Because the mentioning of Excel was NOT in the class description.
What I have learned so far: It seems easy but Excel and Visual Basic are out to kill me.

In other news: We took in a new cat last week. Her name is Cora. If you get the reference you are truly awesome, if not, nevermind you wouldn't care. I'm not sure how this is going to work out with the other two. Sophie hates her, Raven wants to be her friend, but she hates both Sophie and Raven. Last night our girls ganked up on Cora, it was scary. I've never seen Raven poofed up the way she was. (thanks to Amanda for the "poofed up" description.) Anyway, I guess we will see how this works out. There is the cutest picture of Cora on Amanda's blog.

This week is Rush week for TBS. It's exciting and scary all in the same sentence. I have a linear algebra exam Wednesday plus 100 other things due this week. Blah. I don't know how I'm going to get through it. I will I imagine, I always do. I just hope there is less drama this week than last. I can't handle the drama. DRAMA = BAD. Anyway, I don't want to turn this into a "Everything in Nikki's Life is Going to Bits" post. Because it's not. It could be better, but it's more better than worse right now. I'll figure the rest out later.

And I leave you with a quote.

"Bad weather always looks worse through a window." - unknown

I need to update...

Maybe I will sometime when I'm not so tired. I didn't think I would be this busy this semester.
