haha

Yeah so my new obsession is the Food Network. Favorite show: Iron Chef America, Good Eats, and Emeril live. I'm watching Emeril live and they are doing a spin off of Iron Chef. What is sad is I recognize the guy that Emril is having on his show, he was on Iron chef a few months ago. Bam vs Spam. This is where I know now what I watch this network too much.

Anyway, classes are going well. I'm not liking Geology too well, but it's getting better. I have a feeling everything is going to go to crap after Texas weekend. (which is next weekend) I'm going to go from busy to SUPER BUSY. But yeah that's why I don't post much anymore, not that anyone really ever reads this thing. Anyway I'm gonna go grab a drink at Starbucks and work on some homework.

So True!

Your Birthdate: September 25

Your birth on the 25th day of the month (7 energy) modifies your life path by giving you some special interest in technical, scientific, or other complex and often hard to understand subjects.
You may become something of a perfectionist and a stickler for details.
Your thinking is logical and intuitive, rational and responsible.

Your feelings may run deep, but you are not very likely to let them show.
This birthday makes you a more private person, more introspective and perhaps more inflexible.
In friendships you are very cautious and reserved.
You are probably inventive, and given to unique approaches and solutions.

It's About Time

I don't think I have ever kept this busy in my life. It makes me appreciate the time that I have just to sit around and watch TV or ride around town for a few minutes.

A lot has happened in the last week or so. The game last Saturday was awesome until the middle of the 3rd quarter. I don't know what I was thinking when I decided to volunteer for "Running Band." Trust me when I say that the name it is given is for a good reason. Here's the deal, after the halftime show about 20 of us or so go around to various areas of the stadium and play for the crowd. It was fun except for the reason that I had to pee like crazy. So when we started to run up to the top of the stadium I was like I can't run and have to pee at the same time. haha, So I went to the bathroom. At this point the heat got to me. It wasn't bothering me before this, I guess just taking my uniform off really triggered it. Anyway, I decided that instead of catching up with the running band that I would just go back down to where the rest of The Pride was. HA. At this point I was clear up at the top. By the time I got down to the bottom of the stadium I could barely walk I was so dizzy, so I stopped in the tunnel and got some water. I felt ok after that and then I went over to the rest of the band. I told Katrina that I thought I was going to get sick. HAHA at this point I had like 4 people trying to get me out of the sun and my jacket unzipped so I could get some air. As we were sitting in the tunnel after this, I heard sirens coming up from behind me. LOL they called the gator ambulance to come pick me up and take me to the "Cardiac Room." This is where Katrina and I spent pretty much the rest of the game. I was so dizzy most of that time and I don't remember most of the conversation, but I was glad that she stayed with me instead of leaving me there by myself. Anyway, we won the game! We went back out before the game was over and I got to see the last big play of the game when we got a touchdown at 3 seconds left. :)

Sunday was Formal Tea for Tau Beta Sigma. It was kinda weird seeing everyone dressed up, but it was a good time. I didn't realize that we were doing interviews for TBS during the tea until I got there and Liz mentioned something about it. I didn't really freak out or anything, I think it probably worked out better that way. Anyway, Monday I received my bid!!! I was/am so happy! I've been wanting to join TBS since before I came here and now finally the ball is getting rolling with that! Very exciting.

The rest of the week has been crap. I haven't felt very well in the last 3 days or so. Nasty allergies/cold. Plus it's round one for exams time. Thursday - Calc IV, Friday - Geology, Monday - Differential Equations. At this point 2 down 1 to go. I'm pretty sure I failed my geology exam. And I'm not to excited about the ODE exam Monday.

On a much happier note my birthday is in 9 days!!!

Awesomeness

Saturday was our first football game of the season. That also means that was the first time I was out on the field in front of almost 85,000 people. Seriously, running out of the tunnel and out onto the field for pregame has rated number two for the coolest things that I have been apart of. (number one is still the Savage Garden concert in 2000) I never freaked out at all, I ran out there and was thinking, "holy crap this is FREAKING AWESOME!!!" The halftime show went really well also, although that was about the point at which I was getting irritated by being in the heat/burning sun. TCU's band played Land of 1000 Dances for their first song, I wanted to play along since that was one of my favorite songs from high school band. The ball game was pretty sad, but no one can win them all, even though a lot of people around here think we should. Anyway, Last Saturday was a crazy day, and I get to do it all again this Saturday!

At some point I'll have my pictures developed and put them up on here to share.
